Foldable phones are so in trend this days that we can find many brands launching it. The time we took breath for Samsung’s Foldable phone we got the news about Huawei’s launch. Huawei’s foldable phone is here and it is named as Huawei Mate X. The phone has been launched at MWC 2019 and it has thinner, bigger and better folded screen. However, it will be launched in mid of this year.
The phone comes with 8 inch wraparound screen with OLED display and has a thickness of 11mm. Huawei Mate X is 5G as well and comes with Kirin 980 processor and battery of 4500 mAh. The screen has triple folds and when once folded it becomes dual screen smartphone, the other allows to take selfies. The phone becomes square when folded.
The three cameras of the phone have flash and one side of the phone is thick to provide grip and support. There is also a push button that makes sure that tablet is closed. When not closed the thickness is 5.4mm. The display is beautiful and looks like a tablet that can be folded.
The phone has different displays and they are :
1. When folded 6.6-inch (19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2480 x 1148 resolution) main display.
2. When folded 6.4-inch (25:9, 2480 x 892) rear display.
3. When unfolded 8-inch (8:7.1, 2480 x 2200) main display.
4. The chipset is Balong 5000 5G modem and it has dual sim card slot.
The battery charging of the phone is 55W version. The phone can charge 85% in 30 mins and also has Fingerprint sensor for unlocking. The phone will be priced at £2,299 and will include 8 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage.
